Jezebel, the feminist website that was closed by owner G/O Media earlier this month, is back in business
Paste Magazine has acquired Jezebel from G/O Media. Terms were not
disclosed.
Earlier this month, G/O Media announced that, Jezebel, a website that had served readers for 16 years, was closing due to “economic headwinds,” resulting in the
loss of 23 jobs. It was not clear at deadline if the affected workers would return to those positions.
But Jezebel was set to return, possibly this week.

Paste has also acquired Splinter, a political site that closed in 2019, and will relaunch it next year during the
election campaign.
