In what appears to be a resolution of Simulmedia’s trademark infringement charges, rival OpenX has quietly rebranded its TV inventory solution from “TV+” to “TV by OpenX.”

A MediaPost review of its site shows OpenX has updated the logo and all copy and trade dress referencing the product from to "TV by OpenX" from "TV+," which Simulmedia asserted violated its long-standing registered trademark.

An OpenX spokesperson said the company had no comment on the name and logo change.
