Long-time agency media executive Shane
Ankeney has stepped down as president of Havas Media, according to a post on his LinkedIn profile.
The
disclosure comes as Havas Media Network announced yet another transformation of its organization
Monday, naming two top executive -- Greg Walsh and Greg James -- to new positions, but made no mention of Ankeney's departure.
At least one top Havas Media exec tells MediaPost there are
other changes afoot, but did not specify at presstime.
Ankeney, who joined Havas Media Network in 2015, says he stepped down as president of Havas Media at the end of 2023 to "start my next
chapter," but did not indicate what that might be.

Ankeney, who was inducted as a
MediaPost All Star in 2020, previously held top media management roles at IPG Mediabrands' Initiative, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Doner and Carmichael Lynch, began his career as a media research supervisor
at J. Walter Thompson in 1990.
Oddly, a Havas Media website still lists Ankeney as president. It also lists several other former Havas execs
among its management team:
- Lisa Evia as president of
Chicago and Canada (left October 2021).
