Giant casino operator Harrah's has consolidated its $150 million media buying account at Horizon Media, following a review that included Initiative Media and Mediaedge:cia, as well as agency
incumbents Tracy Locke, RDM and R&R, reports
Adweek. An official announcement is expected soon, but Harrah's and Horizon have been letting media outlets know about the account shift as part of
the transition. Horizon has been the long-time media agency for Connecticut-based, Native American casino Foxwoods, but the Harrah's win is not believed to represent a conflict because the casinos
operate in different markets.
