Ad Council Spot Urges People To Connect Despite Differences

The Ad Council is out with a new PSA designed to encourage people to try to connect with others despite differences.  

The Ad Council teamed with the American Immigration Council and the Team Up Project on the effort. 

The spot, called “Shared Table,” highlights opportunities for people to connect with one another through community activities such as book clubs, volunteering and potluck meals.

It was created by Avoq, part of Los Angeles-based Coral Tree Partners.  

Underpinning the creative is research that finds that nearly two-thirds of Americans report feeling a lack of belonging in at least one area of their lives, including 64% in the workplace, 68% in the country and 74% in their local community.
