Dave & Buster's Lobbies For 'Spring Break For All'

Look up any date on Wikipedia, and it will be a holiday, somewhere, for somebody. For example, today is Commonwealth Day in the U.K., as well as Patriot’s Day in six U.S. States, along with National K9 Veterans Day nationwide.

Dave & Buster’s wants to add yet another “official” holiday to customers’ calendars. This week the chain announced its “Spring Break for All” national campaign and online petition, available to sign here.

In a release, the company asking why Spring Break is “reserved just for kids? The reality is, Spring Break is broken."

The campaign features permanent spring breaker and “Jersey Shore” alumni DJ Pauly D in TV, online and in-store executions, touting the chain’s All-Inclusive Spring Break Pass, now available for $8 a day. The limited-time-offer pass, which is good for 10 whole days of unlimited games, also gives customers free chips and queso during each visit.

The chain has also added the “4 SHO’” menu, inspired by DJ Pauly D, which includes two cocktails, a Bacardi Mai Tan and the DJ Pauly D Coolada, in addition to Funnel Cake Fries with various dipping sauces and a specialty non-alcoholic Ocean Berry Blast beverage.

"Our 'Spring Break for All' movement embodies our belief that fun is all-inclusive," said Megan Tobin, Dave & Buster’s CMO, in a release. "And until Spring Break is officially for both adults and kids, our hope is the new Spring Break All-Inclusive Pass and 4 SHO' limited-time menu will have your entire family and crew joining the movement."
