Rebecca Clancy has been appointed editor in chief of Autosport, a provider of racing news and analysis, effective April 29.

Previously, Clancy served as motor racing correspondent for The Times. In addition to covering rugby, tennis and other sports, Clancy worked on the news and business desk.

“I’m excited to welcome Rebecca to Autosport,” says Mike Spinelli, head of content for Motorsport Network. “Her from-the-paddock storytelling expertise, deep knowledge of F1, and passion for motorsports informs an energizing vision for this celebrated brand.”

In addition, Ben Hunt will join the Autosport team on June 4. Most recently, he was an F1 correspondent and motorsport columnist at The Sun. Hunt is the author of “Growing Wings: The Inside Story of Red Bull Racing” (2024) and “Lando Norris: A biography” (2023).
