Activision And Sprite Take To The Streets

Activision, publisher of action sports video games, has teamed with Sprite to promote its new street basketball game, Street Hoops, through a number of co-marketing programs, including retail promotions and in-game placements. The activities are designed to appeal to a broad audience, including the urban demographic. Activision and Sprite are collaborating on instant win promotions that are expected to generate 40 million impressions for the Street Hoops video game from point-of-sale displays at retail. Consumers can look under the cap of specially-marked 20 oz. or 1 liter bottles of Sprite for a chance to "be in the next Street Hoops video game." The promotions will run through October 31, 2002.
