Restaurant collabs to promote feature films aren’t new for the industry, yet one kid-centric brand has dialed up the in-store engagement with its latest joint venture.
Chuck E. Cheese recently announced a partnership with the company pocket.watch and Sunlight Entertainment production studios for the launch of “Ryan’s World,” in theaters Aug. 16.
“Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure” is reportedly the first wide release of a theatrical movie from a YouTube creator brand. The cast is comprised of well-known kid digital creators, who combined have over 207 million subscribers on their YouTube channels.
As part of the collab, Chuck E. Cheese guests can order a large or extra-large pizza “Ryan’s Way,” which is a Triple Loaded Pepperoni Pizza, the main character’s favorite topping. The Triple Loaded Pepperoni Pizza is available for a limited time through Sept 2.

Sunlight Entertainment also filmed an exclusive video at Chuck E. Cheese, seen here, encouraging customers to try the new pepperoni laden menu item and engage in a family gaming competition. Chuck E. Cheese locations across the U.S. and Canada will also feature content from the film on the restaurants’ owned media network, which is comprised of over 5,000 screens in almost 500 locations.
The new joint venture marks the second time Chuck E. Cheese has collaborated with the family entertainment brands. the companies came together in 2021 to create an immersive, in-person experience with nationwide watch parties at CEC locations for the Ryan’s World virtual FanFest.
