'The Billings Times' Closes Print Edition, But Still Offers Printing Services

The Billings (Montana) Times, a community weekly, has published its last print edition, ending a 133-year run.

The owner, Scott Turner, says that print newspapers are “definitely in major decline,” according to the Montana News Leader.

However, the printing presses are still active as the company provides commercial printing services, ranging from brochures to business cards.

The Turner family took over the paper in 1978.

Reporter Ed Kemmick wrote: "we've all been waiting for this forever," in his final column, the report says.

On its site, The Billing Times refers to itself as a “weekly legal/statistical newspaper covering the city of Billings, Montana and Yellowstone County, Montana” and highlights its printing services.
