New Climate Newsletter 'The Fight' Launched By Heatmap News

Heatmap News, a media company that covers climate change and clean energy, has launched a weekly newsletter called The Fight.

The Fight will be led by Jael Holzman, a senior reporter at Heatmap, who has covered the climate for Axios, E&E News and S&P Global.

“Every week, I plan to bring readers the latest information on the energy transition projects defining our time,” Holzman says.

Holzman hopes that The Fight’s "nuanced analysis and in-depth interviews will not only help people decipher the obstacles to building solar farms and battery storage sites, but also help resolve them.”

The debut edition of The Fight appeared on Wednesday, featuring coverage about opposition to a large energy storage project in Acton, California.

The publisher is offering premium subscription tiers, including Heatmap Pro, which provides access to a platform that integrates more than 50 data sources to forecast local support for and opposition to clean energy projects throughout the U.S.

“With Heatmap Plus, readers will receive insights and analysis on the major projects and political trends shaping the clean energy development landscape you won’t find anywhere else,” says Nico Lauricella, editor in chief of Heatmap Plus.
