Gannett Co., Inc. has formed a multi-year strategic partnership with BetMGM, a sports betting and iGaming operator.
As a partner of USA Today Sports, BetMGM will provide sports betting odds and information across the USA Today Network, consisting of more than 300 digital news and media brands in 200 local markets.
In addition, BetMGM sports betting odds will be incorporated into stories and content that reports betting odds, moneylines, spreads and over/unders for games. In addition, there will be a BetMGM “Bet Now” feature.
And, BetMGM Sportsbook and BetMGM Casino will be listed as a partner on website footers for all USA TODAY Network publications.
The goal is to deliver “trusted sports betting information to our audience of more than 44 million sports fans – especially now that football season has kicked off,” says Michael Reed, chairman and chief executive officer of Gannett.
Gannett expects that “this collaboration will immediately lead to an increase in the overall monetization of our content platform,” Reed adds.

Fans can also avail themselves of GameSense, a gambling program offering responsible strategies, information and tools for playing.
For its part, BetMGM is looking forward to leveraging USA Today Network’s massive audience.
