French fashion title M le magazine du Monde is launching an English edition.
M International will be published twice a year, coinciding with Paris Fashion
Week. More than 25,000 copies will be distributed via bookshops and concept stores in major European, American and Asian cities, as well as Paris.
“M International captures
the essence of M for an international audience that knows us through social media, particularly Instagram, but wishes to deepen the reading experience and until now, had no chance to have the magazine
in their hands,” says Marie-Pierre Lannelongue, deputy editor of Le Monde.
Lannelongue adds that M International will offer “a completely new issue with an
editorial theme that says something about France and the times we live in. This is exactly what we do each week to create an issue of M, but featured in an exceptional
edition.”
Lannelongue launched M le magazine du Monde in 2011. It claims to serve 1.5 million readers each
week along with 700,000 social media users, while driving 3.9 million visits each month. It distributes 489,980 print copies per week.
