Condé Nast has promoted Samantha Barry to the new title of global editorial director of Glamour.
Barry will oversee content strategy across Glamour’s global editions in Germany, Mexico and Latin American, Spain, U.K., and the U.S.
Previously, Barry was editor in chief of Glamour U.S., a post she had held since 2018. In 2021, she was named editorial director for the Americas.
“I can’t think of a stronger leader to become Glamour’s first-ever global editorial director,” says Anna Wintour, chief content officer of Condé Nast and global editorial director, Vogue. “Sam has impeccable editorial instincts and has successfully led Glamour into its digital future.”
Barry comments, “As I step into this global editorial director role, I am excited to harness Glamour’s storied legacy and amplify the voices of women worldwide.”
