App Debuts To Recommend Content To Readers

Smashing, an app that recommends content to readers, has emerged from beta and has been launched on iOS.

The new offering combines AI and community curation to help people “find and share the best of the best in their interests,” says Otis Chandler, co-founder and CEO of Smashing.

In addition, Smashing is launching Smashing AI Questions, that it says can help people become smarter readers by seeing all sides of a story.

Readers can also join a community of curators, including journalists, entrepreneurs, media executives and software engineers, Smashing says.

“People online are drowning in an ever-rising sea of content,” Chandler adds. “With Smashing, I think we’ve come across a winning combination of people curating and an AI matching content to readers."
