Reuters Signs Content Agreement With Meta

Meta and Reuters have cut a deal that will allow Meta to use Reuters news content to answer questions.

The AI chatbot arrangement seems to resemble those formed by several publishers with OpenAI, but the difference is that this one is with Meta.

Reuters will receive compensation for content being utilized in the chatbot, according to Axios, which broke the story.

The Meta AI chatbot can be accessed through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.

Among the publishers with agreements with OpenAI are Hearst, Dotdash Meredith, the Financial Times and The Atlantic.
