Bee Newspaper Group, which serves Western New York State, has sold its publications to Sample News Group, which has 75 titles in four states.
Included are the Bee newspapers in Amherst, Clarence, Ken-Ton, Lancaster, Depew, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, Orchard Park, and East Aurora. Together, they have a weekly circulation exceeding 47,000.
The seller was the Measer family of Williamsville, New York.

We look forward to continuing to serve these thriving communities in Western New York.”
The operation will be supervised by Brian Nalepa, president of Sample News Group.
