Do you like to go shopping in-person or online? What about marketing, do you prefer brand awareness or performance? In this series, we get to know past Insider Summit attendees
and ask about their work and personal preferences. In this week’s This or That, get to
know Rachel Doria, Marketing Technology Strategy & Enablement from Kohl’s as she gives us her preferences on things to do, travel, shopping habits, and more.

Rachel Doria, Marketing Technology Strategy
& Enablement from Kohl’s:
Shopping Online or In-Person: Online
these days. I might be addicted to having necessities and trinkets manifest as parcels on my front porch.

App or Website: App, but only if I actually like the brand. I also hate when I HAVE to download an app. Brands shouldn't tell me what to do.
:)
Beach or Mountain: Mountain 1000%. I just moved to Colorado
from Virginia and am so glad that I did!
Zoom or Google Meet: Google
Meet, but only because it's what I use every day. Why does it take me so long to find the hand raise on Zoom? Why is raising my hand associated with an emoji reaction? Now I just sound like a
curmudgeon.
Cooking Food or Ordering Food: Cooking! Ordering has its time/place,
but I know what I'm getting when it's homemade.
Slack or Talking In
Person: Since I'm remote, these are almost the same. I often slack my team and ask if they can hop on a call for topics that would be a quick drive by if I were in the
office.
Aspen or Deer Valley: I haven't been to either, but based on
their reputations, can I say both? Also, when I do visit them, I expect I'll cry a little inside because I took a decade-long hiatus from snowboarding and with my limited snow time in the Rockies so
far, it appears that the slope ratings are a bit more open to interpretation than I thought they were (read: this slope is green... how?).
