GroupM Restructures Global Leadership, Taps McKinsey's Del Greco As Global COO


GroupM this morning unveiled a new leadership structure naming McKinsey vet Emily Del Greco global COO, reporting to CEO Brian Lesser.

Del Greco, who was a partner and led McKinsey's commerce media and advertising practice, previously served as Americas President of MightyHive and was a long-time exec at Google, most recently serving as global head of data commercialization.

Del Greco, who joins GroupM next month, will be responsible for operations, partnerships, strategy, and corporate development worldwide.

Adam Gerhart, meanwhile moved to Global Chief Client Officer from global CEO of its Mindshare unit.

And Toby Jenner moves to global Chief Business Officer from global president of GroupM Clients and global CEO of its Wavemaker unit.

Mark Patterson becomes global president of markets and business operations from COO.
