Conde Nast Names Kemi Alemoru Head Of Editorial Content For 'Glamour UK'

Kemi Alemoru has been named head of editorial content for Glamour UK, effective March 3.

Alemoru will oversee all editorial and social content for the Condé Nast publication.

Alemoru previously served at gal-dem and Dazed, and has written for publications ranging from BBC to The Guardian.

“I'm incredibly excited to work with Kemi on her new role,” says Samantha Barry, Glamour’s global editorial director, to whom Alemoru will report.

Barry adds, “I’ve no doubt that Kemi will elevate our editorial, campaigns, and Glamour UK tentpole events, like Women of the Year.”

Alemoru says, “I have seen first hand the transformative power of online media: how it helps people decode the world around them, how good quality and truthful journalism gives readers the words to express how they feel that they couldn’t yet articulate, and even helps create community online and IRL.”
