
Digital news outlet Straight Arrow News has
added two vice presidents to its executive team: Lincoln Gunn as vice president of revenue operations and Jason Philips as vice president of sales.
Gunn will oversee revenue
operations for direct sales and programmatic advertising, and will help develop a new advertising infrastructure. He has worked on revenue operations at such firm as Fandom and Digital Trends Media
Group.
Philips will oversee advertising sales and partnerships, while expand SAN’s content distribution with current and new syndication partners. Previously, Philips
served as vice president for digital News at CBS.
“Lincoln and Jason each bring a wealth of experience to our newsroom and will be instrumental in building out our
ad-supported news platform and future subscription service,” says Ken Shapiro, chief revenue officer, to whom Gunn and Philips will report.
