The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) this morning released the official agenda for the 2025 NewFronts, with an emphasis on "what's streaming next."
The annual showcase of video-oriented digital publishers was originally conceived by Publicis' Digitas, which turned it over to the IAB years ago, is designed to be both a prelude and a counterpoint to the traditional linear TV networks' annual upfront ad sales presentations in New York City.
This year's NewFronts agenda runs May 5 to 8, including an IAB-hosted "Main Stage" on May 7 (see agenda below) which will include a presentation of the IAB's annual "Digital Video Ad Spend & Strategy Report."
Also slated to return during IAB’s Main Stage day is “Spotlight on: News @ NewFronts” — a session focused on "the role of credible, trustworthy journalism and why it matters for advertisers." The conversation will explore the value of investing in quality news and will include voices from leading organizations, including Yahoo, NBCUniversal, The Guardian, and The Washington Post.
