Cinnabon Launches Collectible Toy Mini Replicas

A mall food court dessert mainstay’s latest collaboration may be its smallest yet.

Sweet treat QSR Cinnabon has teamed up with Zuru Mini Brands, the global toy maker of all things tiny, on its own limited-edition set of branded miniatures set to look just like, well, the chain’s cinnamon rolls.

They’re available for two days, from June 20 to June 22 in-store only. With the purchase of a four-count BonBite, customers will receive one free Zuru Mini Brands Cinnabon collectible. A customer who purchases a 16-pack BonBite will receive four miniatures.

The brand did not announce all of the seven collectibles that will be available (and distributed at random while supplies last), but did say the Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll and the Cinnabon Caramel Pecanbon will be among those offered. Also available will be the Cinnabon Center of the Roll-Pecan mini, which comes in Zuru’s signature golden packaging that designates a “super rare” status

International toy maker ZURA has created miniature versions of hundreds of foods and products, including menu items from such other restaurant brands as Carl’s Jr., White Castle, Subway, Sonic and TGI Fridays, and CPGs including Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, Spam, Skippy and Twinkie. The minis are hugely collectible, with more than 20,000 listings on eBay, some with prices well over $800.

Zura also recently partnered with Ulta beauty stores on mini replicas of popular beauty products from brands such as Urban Decay, NYX and Tarte. Earlier this year the company launched "Mini Minis: Fill The Fridge" and "Create: MasterChef” series.

Cinnabon  recently collaborated with Warheads sour popping candy, creating “Topped Bons” in Blue Raspberry, Green Apple, and Watermelon flavors with Warheads on top.
