Keleops Group, a high-tech media firm, has
acquired Kotaku, a gaming platform, from G/O Media.
The terms were not disclosed.
Kotaku reaches three million monthly users in the US and has a social media
community with more than four million followers.
The purchase contributes to Keleops’ ongoing U.S. presence one year after its acquisition of Gizmodo, the firm says.
“We are thrilled to welcome the entire Kotaku team to Keleops,” says Jean-Guillaume Kleis, CEO and co-founder. “Kotaku isn’t just a brand—it’s a home
for gamers and a place where the culture keeps moving forward.”
Keleops boasts more than 40 million monthly unique visitors worldwide. The firm has offices in Zug (Switzerland),
Paris and New York.
