-- not to be confused with the former, DUMBO-based Interpublic agency Huge Inc. -- to demonstrate how its fledgling AI-generated video platform works based on an interview I had with Charles McCarthy,
who heads business development.
The animated, cartoon-like video was created from an audio recording of our interview utilizing AI video generator KlingAI, which is one of a rapidly expanded
tool chest powering creators on the new platform.
Importantly, all of the tools are free to use for anyone who signs up for a free account on Huge.com, because the goal is to scale a social
network comprised of creators -- both professional ad industry pros, as well as the long-tail of the creator economy -- in order to create a marketplace brands and agencies can go to hire talent to
create ads and other forms of branded video content.

"We're kind of democratizing high-end video creation," McCarthy explained to me, adding that while the platform is free during its rollout
and scale-up phase, it may charge creators down the road, but its main goal is to become a marketplace for discovering, sourcing and hiring talent.
In effect, Huge.com reminds me of the kind
of creative portfolio directory service that began with "The Creative Black Book" back in the 1980s when I started covering the ad business. And while those analog directories have evolved into a
variety of digital, online ones, what differentiates Huge.com's model is that it is both providing the tools for creators to create, as well as enabling them to share ideas, makes suggestions on
techniques, tools, models and concept that might improve their works in progress.
