Chipotle customers may need to brush up on their guacamole and
carnitas knowledge: The chain is bringing back its Chipotle IQ quiz game for the sixth year.
This time, the brand has extended the game to span two weeks instead of one, and now also allows
players to win multiple prizes. From Aug. 12-14 and Aug. 19-21, Chipotle Rewards Members in the U.S. and Canada can play by logging on to ChipotleIQ.com
Game play consists of daily
multiple-choice, true-or-false and short-answer questions on “everything from Chipotle’s...food to sourcing and sustainability efforts,” per the announcement.
“We saw a
20% year-over-year increase in participation from 2023 to last year, underscoring just how much our fans enjoy putting their knowledge of Chipotle to the test,” says Chris Brandt, Chipotle
president and chief brand officer, in a release. “As we return for the sixth year, we’re leveling up the experience with our longest gameplay period in the promotion’s history and [a
larger] prize pool.”

More than 920,000 Chipotle IQ quizzes were completed in 2024, according to a Chipotle brand representative.
Each hour, the first 10,000 players who correctly
answer five out of five quiz questions will win free Chipotle items. The chain will also award 6,000 BOGO offers, 2,000 free Adobo Ranch offers and 2,000 free Queso Blanco offers per hour, as well as
300,000 Chipotle Rewards points each day.
Separately, Chipotle is also holding a “Summer of Extras” event through Aug. 21. Rewards members who opt in can earn extra points, badges
and more for completing specific milestones and can track their performance online compared with other members in their state.
