Gannett is expanding its sports franchise as it announces the 2025 ALL-USA Football Teams, are recognizing the best high school football players in the country.

The publisher is launching watchlists, marking a return of a USA Today sports feature that last appeared in 2019. 

The nominees were selected by USA Today Network journalists, and cover the East, West, Midwest, Southeast, and Southwest regions.

Other sports will be included as the franchise grows.

“The fabric of sports across the nation begins with high school athletics, so it’s only fitting the USA Today Network would help shape the conversation,” says Chris Thomas, executive editor of Sports, Gannett | USA Today Network. “These All-USA regional watchlists — and the All-USA teams at the end of the season — feature the best of the best competing across the country each Friday night this fall.”
