Gmail is rolling out updates to help
users keep track of deliveries and find relevant deals.
One new convenience is a view that brings all purchase and delivery details to one place.
“There’s a lot to keep track of in your everyday life, and as we head back to school and into the busy holiday months,” writes Chris Doan, director, Gmail.
Gmail will continue to show packages that are set to arrive within 24 hours at the top of the primary inbox, and in a summary card within purchase emails. But they will now be available
in a single streamlined interface.
This new view began appearing on Thursday on mobile and web to users around the world with personal Google accounts.
Gmail is also updating its Promotions category.

“Soon, you’ll be able to sort by ‘most relevant’ promotional emails, making it easier to see updates
from senders and brands that matter most to you — including ones you engage with the most,” Doan states.
The Promotional tab is sorted by “’most relevant’ with a
card at the top of the view showing ‘Top deals for you’ and a code from FareWell.
Gmail members will also receive reminders that will highlight upcoming deals. And those who prefer
to keep things as they are can sort by “most recent” instead of “most relevant.”
