
People Inc. has acquired Feedfeed, a
food publisher and creator network.
The terms were not disclosed.
The purchase is a step in
People Inc.’s strategy to accelerate and diversify growth off platform, including via social media, email, news aggregators and live events. Off-platform views have grown by 50+% over the last
two years.
People already attracts 80 millions users a month across brands
like Allrecipes, Food & Wine and Serious Eats.

Feedfeed also provides a
playbook to extend its influencer model to new categories like beauty, travel, and entertainment. Co-founder Julie Resnick and the entire team of 11 will be joining People Inc., based in LA. The
product was founded by Dan and Julie Resnick in 2013.
