The Federal Communications Commission Wednesday hit CBS with another whopping obscenity fine: a record $3.6 million to stations airing an episode of the network's "Without A Trace," which depicted a
teenage sex orgy. The fine, one of 11 shows cited for a total of $3.9 million in new obscenity fines by the commission, is the biggest yet for the single episode of a network series. The commission
also upheld its decision to fine 20 CBS stations $550,000 for its airing of the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show. -- Joe Mandese
