
Lots of top personnel changes this week at
several leading QSR, pizza and coffee brands.
Jersey Mike's Subs has tapped Andrew (Andy) Skehan as president of international. Skehan brings over 20 years’ experience to the role, where
he will lead the chain’s “multinational growth strategy, development, operations, and marketing initiatives as the company scales its presence across key markets, with a focus on Canada
and the UK.”
“[Andy’s] proven record driving expansion for some of the world's best-known restaurant brands makes him the ideal leader to guide our next chapter,” says
Charlie Morrison, Jersey Mike's CEO.
Skehan most recently served as president and CEO of Home Franchise Concepts, a large North American franchising system in the home services industry.
Before that he worked as president of North America at Krispy Kreme, where he oversaw the company's retail business, and also spent six years as president of international at Popeyes. Earlier in his
career he held the position of chief operating officer of Wendy's/Arby's International, and held multiple senior positions at Churchill Downs Incorporated, Nabisco and PepsiCo Restaurants
International.

Papa John’s International has promoted Ravi Thanawala to CFO and president, North America. He most recently served as the company’s CFO and executive vice president,
international. In his new role Thanawala will add responsibilities for the company’s North American business to his CFO duties.
Before joining Papa John’s in 2023 (and serving as
the chain’s interim CEO last year), Thanawala worked as chief financial officer of Nike North America, Nike Inc.’s largest division. During his seven-year tenure at Nike he also served as
global vice president and CFO of the Converse brand.
Prior to Nike, Inc.,Thanawala spent eight years at Ann, Inc. where he eventually became CFO
The pizza chain has also promoted Chris
Lyn-Sue to senior vice president, general manager, of international.
Stuart Heflin has joined Peet’s Coffee as president. He succeeds Eric Lauterbach, who leaves the coffee chain
after 15 years.
In his new role, Heflin will oversee all domestic and international businesses across the Peet’s portfolio, including Stumptown Coffee, Intelligentsia Coffee and
Peet’s China.
Prior to Peet’s, Heflin served as senior vice president and general manager at The Simply Good Foods Company, parent company of Quest Nutrition. Earlier in his
career Heflin held senior positions at Glanbia Performance Nutrition and Procter & Gamble.
