Zaxbys’ 2025 holiday promotions are a real family affair.

This week the restaurant kicks off its “12 Days (Chainz) of Saucemas” campaign, giving customers 12 different daily Zaxbys deals. The chain has tapped Atlanta-native rapper and actor 2 Chainz, along with his son Halo, to promote the festivities.

Each deal is only available for the chain’s rewards members within the Zaxby’s app. Every day for the first 12 days of December the brand will drop a video via its social platforms with 2 Chainz, where the rapper will sport a custom designed, blinged-out “chain” that corresponds to that day’s deal.

In the first video, seen here, 2 Chainz rolls up to a Zaxbys in a red convertible and introduces himself and the “12 Chainz of Christmas,” a reworking of the holiday classic song now promoting the chain’s deals. He sings/raps lines such as “12 wings a dunkin’ … 10 gift cards gifting… six zalads drizzling, three sauces, two egg rolls, and a milkshake made with cookies.”

Halo lends his own lines to the mix, playing off popular Gen Z “6-7” nonsensical phrase, much to his dad’s annoyance. The video ends with the tag: “Who’s got the sauce? Zaxbys!”

Zaxbys’ “Sauce Boss,” actor and rapper Omar Epps, also appears in the videos, and just happens to also be 2 Chainz' real-life cousin, per the brand.

The first deal on Dec. 1 is a free Cookie Butter Shake containing vanilla with cinnamon-spiced cookie pieces, whipped cream, cookie crumbles and a cherry.
