Behind the Scenes with Yunice Emir
Moët Hennessy USA's Yunice Emir talks
I've had the opportunity to connect with and learn from
executives of major brands at MediaPost's Insider Summits. In the process I've discovered some truly impressive women -- not only for the work they do, but their stories behind the scenes.
With Brand Insider: BTS, I get to pull back the curtain on some of the most influential women marketers as they talk about their path to success: the twists and turns, obstacles,
inspirations and the valuable lessons learned along the way.
Jessica Kogan wants women to tune out the naysayers and trust themselves. She’s a firm believer that we’re never
limited to one path, and that staying open (and brave) can lead to the most unexpected opportunities. And Jessica certainly practices what she preaches. At the time of this interview, she was serving
as The Vintage Wine Estates’ chief growth & experience officer. Today, she’s on a whole new adventure as Founder & CEO of HSP Brands, a modern adult-beverage sampling
and marketing company helping brands create meaningful connections with consumers both in-store and online. Jessica’s career is full of standout moments: she became the first female president to
take a wine company public at VWE in 2020, was named to the Forbes 50 Over 50 list, recognized as a WINE STAR Innovator of the Year by Wine Enthusiast, and honored as one
of RIS News’ “Top Women in Retail Tech.” In this episode of Brand Insider: BTS, Jessica opens up with Lisa Singer about the frustrations that pushed her to move on, and
shares her love of the internet, champagne — and her very East Coast mission of hunting down a great bagel in California. (Spoiler alert: she found one!) You can watch the entire conversation
above.
