It's been three months since the Institute for Advertising Ethics
(IAE) tackled the ethical issues surrounding industry and influencer practices in a new curriculum and professional certification program for the $30 billion plus Influencer Marketing industry. This
week, following industry feedback, the IAE is officially launching its new "Influencer Integrity Shield" to help both industry marketing pros and
influencers themselves consider the ethical guidelines governing how they do business.
Whether you are a marketer, agency, micro, macro or celebrity "influencer," watch my conversation with the
IAE's Anna McAlister and Andrew Susman as they walk through the highlights of the new curriculum and the value of brandishing the new ethical shield.
As an addendum, I'm also publishing this link to a simple reference document highlighting the major ethical influencer marketing
breaches identified by the IAE as part of the initiative.
