Tim Hortons Partners With Adidas To Outfit Young Soccer Players

Young soccer players in Canada are getting a stylish glow-up courtesy of Tim Hortons and Adidas.

Through Tim Hortons’ Timbits Sports Program, the coffee chain has teamed up with athleticwear maker Adidas on a new Timbits Soccer jersey, as part of a multiyear ongoing jersey partnership. Timbits Soccer is a community-oriented program that provides opportunities for boys and girls ages three to seven to play soccer, supporting more than 220,000 kids with jerseys, participation medals and other items across Canada each year.

Beginning in June, an adult-sized jersey will be available for purchase at select Tim Hortons restaurants and through TimShop.ca. The coffee chain and Adidas previously partnered on a pair of limited-edition donut-inspired sneakers for Tim Horton's 60th anniversary in 2024.

An upcoming TV spot will promote Timbits Soccer with Canadian soccer player Jonathan David and will run across Canada. The chain will also release a new line of soccer-themed drinkware and merch in May.

The mission of the 30-year-old Timbits Sports Program, which also supports youth hockey in Canada, is “not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends and just being a kid.”

Tim Hortons has also launched a line of “Tastes of the Globe” Timbits (the chain’s version of donut holes) in honor of the new soccer season for a limited time, along with a soccer-themed Timbits Bucket. The new flavors include: Canadian Fireworks, which is a Birthday Cake Timbit coated with popping candy clusters; a Chocolate Crème Brûlée-Filled Timbit; and a Lime Cheesecake Filled Timbit, in addition to a Cappuccino Timbit.
