Hard Mountain Dew Targets Brides-To-Be With Louisiana Swamp Adventure

This wedding season is here, and Hard Mountain Dew is putting a decidedly Cajun twist on the often overpriced and overdone traditional bachelorette party.

The hard soda brand is putting out the call to brides-to-be and their crews to enter to win “The Bayou Bach,” an all-expenses-paid bachelorette party in the Louisiana bayou.

The winning bride and five friends will be flown to New Orleans in mid-July. The trip’s itinerary includes swamp tours, ziplining over alligators and authentic Louisiana cuisine, along with “plenty of Hard Mountain Dew flowing throughout the weekend.”

“Hard Mountain Dew has never shied away from celebrating life’s biggest moments in ways no one saw coming,” said Erica Taylor, senior brand director for Hard Mountain Dew. “Bayou Bach is for the bride who wants something real, surprising, and distinctly Hard Mountain Dew. If she’d rather wrestle a gator than don a rhinestone cowboy hat, this one’s for her.”

Entries are open to brides-to-be or maids of honor and “ride-or-die friends” who can nominate the bride’s crew at HardDewBayouBach.com from now through June 23.

To support the promo, the brand has also dropped a limited-edition Bayou Bach merch collection, available here. It includes such swamp-appropriate gear as custom-branded chest-high waders with built-in boots (in pink, of course), boonie hats with bug-resistant mesh covering, and Louisiana-coded bachelorette sashes that read “Last splash in the bayou.” A second Bayou Bach merch drop will take place on June 16.

The brand is promoting Bayou Bach via its Facebook, Instagram, X and other platforms.
