“Disney's ‘Moana’ is the kind of cinematic event that brings families together and creates unforgettable summer
memories,” “Through our collaboration with Disney, we wanted to create an experience that extends beyond the theater — from collectible cups and movie rewards to immersive music and
digital storytelling inspired by the world of Moana. The Moana Movie Meal Deal is our way of helping fans celebrate the adventure together all summer long,” said said Jeff Klein, Subway’s
CMO, in a release.
To receive the Fandango promo code, customers must scan a QR code embedded into the cup design, which then prompts them to upload an image of their
receipt.
Subway’s Moana campaign also includes an in-app takeover, custom social storytelling and a music-driven digital experience. In store the brand will promote the collab through
theatrical window wraps and themed digital menu experiences. Promotions will also extend across major retail destinations such as Walmart.
