Senator Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) has introduced a bill in response to President Trump’s launch of a paid service for early access to his Truth Social posts, edhat reports. The
Stop Corrupt Trading Act would prohibit any president or vice president from selling advance access to the president’s official or social media statements. The bill would also prevent any firm
in which the president or vice president hold a substantial financial interest from doing the same.
