CARTER P. MAGUIRE, JR., has been named senior vice president of distribution for The Weather Channel. Maguire will be responsible for overseeing and directing the sales of all The Weather Channel branded products and for all aspects of the affiliate relationships including contractual agreements, local advertising sales, affiliate marketing and promotions. Previously, Maguire was vice president of sales for Digeo.
