All About MeeVee

TV keeps expanding its channels and choices. How are viewers supposed to keep up? One answer is MeeVee, a video search engine designed by the Burlingame, Calif.-based company of the same name. Billed as a "TV Guide killer," the tool lets users search local, cable, satellite, and Internet TV schedules using show titles, cast member names, and keywords.

MeeVee's latest version is even more personalized: Users can create personal channels or profiles, incorporating all sorts of video content for delivery into an array of devices. MeeVee's new community-building elements allow users to engage in peer-to peer exchanges and expand their social networks. Its hardware allows MeeVee to connect with any video-enabled device, alerting users when new content matching their profiled interests becomes available.
