Arbitron announced Thursday that it will delay reporting of public and non-commercial radio stations in local market reports. The company is pushing back the public and non-commercial radio ratings
after its most recent meeting with the Arbitron Radio Advisory Council, an elected council representing local radio stations, on October 23rd-25th in Houston. Instead of including the public and
non-commercial ratings in its Fall 2006 reports, Arbitron will wait to include them with its satellite radio and Internet radio results, which are still being refined.
