The Association of Directory Publishers (ADP), the oldest and largest trade association representing U.S. telephone directory publishers, has elected Hagadone Directories president Jim Hail as the
chairman of its board of directors. Valley Yellow Pages president and chief executive officer Sieg Fischer was elected first vice chair, while Associated Publishing president Bob Allen III was elected
second vice chair.
"ADP is very much an association of entrepreneurs and our board composition reflects a healthy cross section of our membership," said ADP president and chief executive officer
Larry Angove in a press release. "With our one company/one vote governance structure, ADP can never be controlled by a single category of members. That's one of the major reasons our independent
publisher members are so rapidly gaining share."
