Paramount Names Media Planning/Buying Czar

Steve Siskind has been named executive vice president-worldwide marketing and advertising for the Motion Picture Group of Paramount Pictures. He succeeds Tom Campanella, who after more than 40 years at Paramount, will becomes a senior advisor to the company. Siskind will be responsible for all aspects of media planning and buying for Paramount Pictures' theatrical film releases in the U.S. and Canada and manage international media campaigns. In addition, he will oversee Paramount's Internet advertising and share responsibility for the national promotional partnerships. He joins Paramount from 20the Century Fox, where he was executive vice president-media and research.
