TV Land announced a new slate of pilots, recurring series and specials as part of its 2006-2007 original programming rollout. The shows underscore the net's focus on baby boomers, the first generation
to grow up watching TV. The new pilots include: "Family Foreman," a reality show focused on the life of former heavyweight boxing champion/multimillion-dollar pitchman George Foreman and his 10 kids;
"The Big 4-0," a look at the emotional and sometimes over-the-top festivities planned for and by boomers who hit this milestone; "The Story Of ...," an in-depth look at the fads, trends and
pop-culture phenomena fueled by this demo, from disco to plastic surgery; and "Meet Your Match," the first dating show for boomers who are have been there, done that.
