I'm passionate about digital media, marketing and disruption, but I can't think about any of that stuff right now. As I write this column early Thanksgiving day, I'm thankful for one very special reason: I became a dad Tuesday morning of this week, Nov. 21 at 12:31 a.m.! Julian Frank Kalehoff, at six pounds and four ounces, now is the most important and beautiful thing in my life, along with my wife Laura. Never have I felt so proud, happy, emotional, loving, protective and vulnerable--all at the same time.

I promise to return next week with some old-style Online Spin, probably with a new parental edge. In the meantime, are there any recent parents who can offer advice for raising kids in our growing digital culture? Please send them my way.
