Cue Ball To License Budget Living Internationally

  • February 27, 2004
Budget Living Media has tapped Cue Ball to license local-language editions of Budget Living around the world. Cue Ball, which has coordinated similar deals for Dennis Publishing, Hachette Filipacchi and Wenner Media, boasts what it calls "client-partners" in the U.S., Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Hong Kong and mainland China.

"Everywhere we've gone, publishers have immediately identified with Budget Living's concept and said that people in their country want the same thing: to live well without spending too much money," said Cue Ball chief operating officer Mike Greehan in a press release. "We think that there is big international potential for Budget Living, and the responses in our initial international meetings have been very exciting."

Budget Living's current guaranteed rate base is 450,000.
