Clean and Green

The Dallas firm Advercan Inc. is touting its new wood pulp-based, biodegradable Clean Cap, labels that can both seal and be peeled off from the tops of aluminum beverage cans. Not only is this good news for those paranoid about all of the different kinds of bacteria that can live on top of their soda and beer cans, but also for a number of potential advertisers who could affix their brand message onto the new labels.

Advercan believes major beverage companies such as PepsiCo and Miller Brewing Company will jump onboard with the Clean Cap idea once it launches.

Advercan CEO and inventor Kenny Mac McClintock says, "It's taken a lot of committed research, but to create a new global advertising tool with a consumer-benefit angle will be well worth this expensive pursuit."
