VNU Rebrands Itself As The Nielsen Company

VNU announced yesterday that it is changing its name to The Nielsen Company. A global information and media company, Nielsen Company includes ACNielsen and Nielsen Media Research, as well as business publications such as The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, and Adweek. The privately held company has more than 42,000 employees worldwide. A new corporate Web site (www.nielsen.com) accompanied the rebranding. A new graphic identity will roll out progressively this year.
