  • September 10, 2003, The Wall Street Journal's executive career site, has launched a complete redesign, which offers enhanced search capability, faster downloads and a range of new features. According to the official announcement of the redesign, research has found that many executives, managers and professionals who aren't job hunting are still interested in becoming more "career savvy," so they visit to review in-depth salary data, read columns on career management, and review job listings from competitors and vendors. To meet those needs, the redesigned site offers active discussion boards, advanced article search, salary and hiring data. The new site will also offer stronger advertising positions, where advertisers will be able to buy a 300 x 250 advertising position above the fold of the majority of the site's page.
