  • March 8, 2007
In a move to further differentiate Starcom and MediaVest, Publicis Groupe Wednesday announced a restructuring that splits up Starcom MediaVest Group's multicultural media operations into two distinct units: Starcom's Tapestry; and MediaVest's Forty-Two Degrees. They will function as separate operation units of SMG Multicultural, a new division of SMG, which will be headed by Monica Gadsby, who was named CEO. Tapestry, which was previously headed by Gadsby, will now be overseen by Managing Directors Danielle Gonzalez in Chicago and Isabella Sanchez in Miami. Forty Two Degrees will be headed by Caleb Windover, former managing director of Tapestry's New York operations.
